After graduation, Thomas moved to New Mexico with his wife and two sons to begin his legal career.
Thomas primarily practices in the areas of bankruptcy, wills, trusts, and probate. Attorney at Law

Salvador Alejandro Guardiola II, Esq.

Sal’s excellence-based approach to his work can be traced back to a motto he learned from his Jesuit high school Brophy College Preparatory where he was named Salutatorian: Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam (“For the Greater Glory of God”). Sal then attended the University of New Mexico on a full-ride scholarship where he graduated summa cum laude (“with highest honors”). His college career also took him to Spain and Puerto Rico where he expanded his fluency in the Spanish language. He is also a graduate from the University of New Mexico School of Law. There he earned many honors and participated in the Christian Legal Society.
Beloved by his law school, Sal was hired as the Public Relations Specialist for the Child and Family Justice Initiative through UNM. After which, he then spent the next four years serving the people of New Mexico as a State Prosecutor. He quickly rose through the rankings from Assistant Trial Attorney to Trial Attorney to Senior Trial Attorney and ultimately to Deputy District Attorney. As a Deputy District Attorney in Las Cruces, NM, Sal was awarded “Prosecutor of the Year” honors for his fierce advocacy skills, compassion for victims of crime, and enthusiastic leadership acumen. As a State Prosecutor, Sal secured numerous guilty verdicts in newsworthy jury trials. Sal fought passionately for children, and some of his crowning achievements included securing significant sentences for child abusers and murderers.
Embracing the entrepreneurial spirit, Sal joined forces with his law partner and former colleague, Thomas R. A. Limón, to create Rio Grande Estate Planning, LLC with the vision of serving his clientele and to help them to secure their legacies. Sal understands that “a good person leaves an inheritance for his children’s children.” (Proverbs 13:22 NIV Bible).
In his free time, Sal enjoys spending time with loved ones, golfing, songwriting, and reading books.
